A Polish government minister wants a ban on the production and distribution of books and clothing that promote fascist and totalitarian systems, officials said. (…) The new law would ban the production and sale of Nazi memorabilia depicting the image of Adolf Hitler and products with Nazi symbols, including swastikas. Radziszewska said neo-Nazis from Germany go to Poland to purchase Nazi items that are banned in their own country.
Romanies call for nation-wide rallies to condemn racist attacks on their community
The Czech Republic’s Romany community is outraged by the recent arson attack on one of its members which left a two-year-old girl fighting for her life and rendered eight people homeless overnight. Several Romany organizations have called on the authorities to stand up to growing extremism in the country, and are planning a nationwide protest to step up public opposition to the neo-Nazi movement. A schoolteacher from the community of Vítkov, north Moravia where the torching took place, told reporters on Thursday that the locals were all appalled by Saturday’s attack in which unknown assailants threw Molotov cocktails into a Roma family house. The teacher said the attack was totally unexpected since relations between the majority population and the Romanies in the village had always been good. But the latest arson attack, in which a two-year-old girl suffered severe burns on 80 percent of her body, was the third torching of a Romany house in the last year. The country’s Romany community is extremely concerned by the growing number of neo-Nazi marches being held and the increasingly brutal physical attacks on Romanies. Ivan Veselý is the head of the NGO Dženo, and deputy chair of the government’s council on Romany issues. “That was the last drop for the Romany community in this country so we decided to organize a protest in towns and cities. We must show the government and the international community a civic attitude, a civic protest to push the authorities and the police to fight against extremists and neo-Nazis.”

Locals rally against growing extremism in Ústí nad Labem. At dawn, before hundreds of nationalist extremists were to descend on their city, Miroslav Brož and about 40 other residents crept through the deserted streets of Ústí nad Labem. Armed with rolls of yellow plastic tape, they decorated the streets, pinning up photographs of the backs of locals who shared their opposition to the extremist march planned for later the same evening. „We turn our backs to the Nazis,“ Brož said, explaining the symbolism behind the photographs. „Ústí is our town, not theirs.“ Brož and other concerned residents came up with the „We Don’t Want Nazis in Ústí!“ initiative more than seven weeks ago, in response to plans by the extremist Autonomous Nationalist group for an April 18 march through the city. The Autonomous Nationalists announced their demonstration as a peaceful event commemorating the victims of the 1945 U.S. bombing of Ústí nad Labem, but residents and local authorities worried the real aim was to mark Adolf Hitler’s 120th birthday, and to instigate unrest.

A birch-lined back yard believed to hold the remains of more than 750 former Jewish prisoners slain by the Nazis in the final days of World War II will be excavated by German authorities starting Wednesday. The work on the site of the former Nazi labor camp Lieberose, a subcamp of the better-known Sachsenhausen concentration camp, follows a lengthy battle with the former landowner. Joerg Schoenbohm, interior minister of Brandenburg state, said officials hope the efforts will help bring closure to any relatives of victims and send a signal to neo-Nazis and others seeking to deny the Holocaust. (…) Initial digging at the site, where the Nazis set up the Lieberose work camp in 1943, is to begin on Wednesday — the 64th anniversary of the liberation of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, which is just north of Berlin. Although Lieberose was a subcamp of Sachsenhausen, most of its inmates arrived from Auschwitz. Those deemed too ill to work were sent back to the death camp in nearby Poland, which was occupied by the Nazis for most of the war, historian Guenter Morsch said.

German authorities will excavate an estimated 750 unmarked graves from a site near a concentration camp and turn the spot into a memorial. The excavation of the gravesite begins on April 22, 2009, the 64th anniversary of the liberation of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. The graves are thought to be those of 753 prisoners at the nearby satellite labor camp, Lieberose. On Feb. 2, 1945, as Soviet forces neared Lieberose, the Nazis shot inmates who were too sick or weak to participate in a forced march from the camp. Hundreds more were killed on the following day and buried at a second site. Many of the Lieberose inmates had been brought from Auschwitz to work at the camp; those who became ill were usually sent back to Auschwitz.

The Department of Justice called on a US court to lift a stay of deportation against a former Nazi camp guard wanted for trial in Germany, arguing the 89-year-old was fit enough to travel. The US government met an Ohio court deadline to provide documents from a doctor stating that John Demjanjuk was well enough to fly to Germany and pledging that he would travel comfortably and with medical care. (…) His family says he is bedridden and suffers from a host of ailments including kidney disease, arthritis and cancer which makes him unfit to fly. But the Justice Department argued: „None of the medical reports submitted by the petitioner support his claims that his physical condition would subject him to torture if transported or incarcerated.“ It submitted a confidential report by flight surgeon Captain Carlos Quinones certifying that Demjanjuk had been cleared to fly after an examination. It also sent the court four videos said to show the 89-year-old getting out of his car and entering medical offices.

Das Video beweise, dass Demjanjuk fit genug sei, um nach Deutschland abgeschoben zu werden, argumentierte die Staatsanwaltschaft am späten Donnerstagabend nach Angaben der Zeitung.

Die vierte konservativ-subversive Aktion scheint eine richtige Sponti-Veranstaltung zu sein: Die Aktivisten, unter anderem Götz Kubitschek und Felix Menzel, sollen in dem Berufsschulzentrum, in dem heute das Wandbild Benjamin Jahn Zschockes übermalt werden soll, versucht haben dies zu verhindern. Dabei soll es zu Festnahmen gekommen sein. Seit zehn Uhr sind sie wieder auf freiem Fuß. Durch eine offene Tür sollen Kubitschek, Menzel und Chemnitzer Studenten in die Mensa der Berufsschule gelangt sein, in der sich das Wandbild Jahn Zschockes befindet. Mit einer Sitzblockade hätten sie die Übermalung des Bildes verhindern wollten, heißt es im Blog der „Sezession“. Die Polizei soll bei der Verhaftung der Protestler „recht ruppig zur Sache“ gegangen sein und die Aktivisten mit Handschellen bzw. Kabelbindern gefesselt haben.

via Konkurrenz für „Thor Steinar“? Modelabel „Ansgar Aryan“ wirbt auf rechtsextremem Internetportal.
Seit kurzer Zeit erscheint auf dem rechtsextremen Internetportal „Altermedia“ Werbung für die Modemarke „Ansgar Aryan“. Somit scheint neben „Thor Steinar“ und „Erik and Sons“ nun eine weitere Modemarke ins Interesse modisch interessierter Rechtsextremer zu treten. Grund genug, sich die Marke mal genauer anzuschauen. Optisch wirkt die Internetseite von „Ansgar Aryan“ schlicht – schwarzer Hintergrund, die Schrift in unterschiedlichen Graustufen oder im kräftigen Rot. Groß prangt das Logo des doppelten „A“ auf einem ständig wechselnden Bild. In der rechten Ecke, steht der schwungvoll, einer Handschrift ähnelnde Schriftzug „Ansgar Aryan“ darunter in rot „Proud to be!“ „Ansgar Aryan“ gehört zur „Nordic Tex“, deren Geschäftsführer ist Daniel Kilian. Ihren Sitz hat die „Nordic Tex“ in Oberhof. Aufschlussreich ist, dass unter der Rubrik „Was wir sonst noch tun“ eine leere Seite erscheint. Offenbar erwägt das Unternehmen, auch als Sponsor tätig zu werden.

Die Wiener Band “Obskene Sonare” wurde im Jahr 2006 gegründet. Sie dürfte eine besondere Beziehung zu dem Datum 20. April haben (an diesem Tag wurde übrigens auch Adolf Hitler geboren): Am 20. April 2007 wurden die Lieder für den Tonträger “Todnachten” aufgenommen. Dieser wurde später von dem deutschen NS-Blackmetal-Label “Darker than Black” als Platte wiederveröffentlicht. Am 20. April 2008 folgte schließlich der Tonträger “Wolfsherz”. Die optische Gestaltung orientiert sich ganz und gar an der Reichskriegsflagge. Dem Kreuz der Flagge wurden vier Tierköpfe hinzugefügt, sodass sich mit etwas Phantasie ein stilisiertes Hakenkreuz ergibt.

Dal 19 al 21 giugno 2009 si terra ad Innsbruck/Tirolo la festa delle “Burschenschaften” (corporazioni studentesche di estrema destra). Il motivo attuale per questa occasione è che nel 2009 si celebra per la duecentesima volta la battaglia del “Bergisel”, nella quale contadini tirolesi rivoltarono contro l`illuminismo – motivo abbastanza buono, per riimpugniare la sciabola e glorificare anche il terrorismo altoatesino con il tema “200 anni di lotta di liberazione tirolese”.

Nach einem Bericht von Antifaschisten aus Rüsselsheim hat es bis vor kurzem im Stammhaus des OPEL-Konzerns einen Neonazi in der gewählten Azubi-Vertretung gegeben. Er fiel zunächst durch Thor-Steinar-Klamotten, rechtsextreme Sprüche sowie Tattoos auf und soll sich bemüht haben, “eine gewisse rechte Dominanz” unter seine Mit-Azubis bei OPEL zu bringen. Zudem war er auf einer Liste der IG Metall-Jugend in die Jugendvertretung (JAV) bei OPEL gewählt worden.

Ein bekennender Nazi ist seit einiger Zeit Mitglied der Jugendvertretung (JAV) bei Opel Rüsselsheim. Wie Presseberichten zu entnehmen ist (Main-Spitze, Echo-Online) handelt es sich dabei um einen in die Azubi-Vertretung des Betriebs gewählten Vertreter der IG Metall-Jugend, der schon seit einiger Zeit durch Thor-Steinar-Klamotten und auf einer privaten Homepage geäußerte Sympathien für Rechts-Rock-Bands aufgefallen ist. Auch gebe es Gerüchte über ein Nazi-Tatoo. Die Vorwürfe gegen den Nazi kursieren seit längerer Zeit im Betrieb und waren kürzlich auch Gegenstand einer Beratung der JAV, wo man dem Betroffenen aber nicht nur Gelegeneit zur Stellungnahme gab, sondern anscheinend zunächst auch nichts Weiteres gegen ihn unternahm. Bei Opel befürchtet man anscheinend, man könne gegen ihn schwerlich etwas tun. Ein Mitglied des Opel-Betriebsrates kündigte eine Prüfung des Sachverhaltes an. Nach den vorliegenden Presseberichten sagte ferner die Vorsitzende der Vertrauenskörperleitung, man könne die Gesinnung des Nazis nicht bestrafen, solange er sich vor Ort nichts zuschulden kommen lasse. Wir dachten immer, Faschismus sei keine Meinung, sondern ein Verbrechen und fordern, daß der Jungnazi umgehend aus Gewerkschaft und JAV ausgeschlossen wird.

Nach dem Zugang von prominenten NPD-Parteigängern werden bei der Deutschen Volksunion (DVU) programmatische Pflöcke im Sinne der „Neuen Rechten“ eingeschlagen. Nicht nur Hitler- und NS-Nostalgie soll über Bord geworfen werden, sondern auch der bei der NPD eingefleischte Antisemitismus wird herunter gespielt. Das „Kernproblem“ seien nicht Juden, sondern Muslime, heißt es nun aus der Münchner Parteizentrale. Am 1. Mai will die DVU eine gemeinsame Veranstaltung mit dem saarländischen NPD-Landesverband durchführen. Thematisch hatte es seit Jahrzehnten praktisch keine Entwicklung bei der DVU gegeben, die vom Partei-Monarchen Gerhard Frey in Alleinherrschaft geführt wurde. Doch mit dem neuen DVU-Vorsitzenden Matthias Faust, dem Eintritt des NPD-Funktionärs Andreas Molau und dessen Beschäftigung als DVU-Pressesprecher werden nicht nur personell, sondern auch inhaltlich neue Akzente gesetzt.

Die rechtsextreme Gruppierung „pro Köln“ hat am heutigen Donnerstag weitere „hochkarätige“ Teilnehmer des für den 8. bis 10. Mai geplanten Anti-Islam-Kongresses bekanntgegeben. Die Gästeliste stehe nach Angaben von „pro Köln“ dafür, dass Patriotismus und Islamkritik nichts mit Rassismus zu tun habe. Neben den bereits angekündigten Gästen haben laut dem fremdenfeindlichen Internetportal „pi-news“ die „Islamkritiker“ Pamela Geller (Foto) aus den USA, Lars Hedegaard aus Dänemark und Paul Belien aus Belgien ihre Teilnahme am Kongress zugesagt. Die Zusage des US-Schriftstellers Robert Spencer steht – wohl ähnlich wie im Fall von Le Pen im vergangenen September – noch aus. Mit Pamela Geller tritt eine enge Vertraute des xenophoben Rechtspopulisten Geert Wilders in den kleinen Kreis der „pro-Bewegung“ ein. Wenn Wilders es offenbar selbst nicht für nötig hält, sich mit einer deutschen Kleinstpartei wie „pro Köln“ abzugeben, werden eben die kleinen Handlanger mit der lästigen Aufgabe betraut. Im Prinzip teilt Pamela Geller nämlich exakt die Auffassungen von Wilders: Man gibt sich israelfreundlich – folglich sollte Rassismus nach Meinung von Wilders und Konsorten als Vorwurf ausscheiden. Dafür beschränkt man sich eben auf Hetzpropaganda der übelsten Art und Weise gegen Muslime, Ausländer und Homosexuelle.
