Nazi rocker accused of pedophilia
The lead singer of the official band for the Danish neo-Nazi political party has been expelled from the group and asked to commit suicide after he was accused of pedophilia. Carsten Ovesen, the frontman of the band Daneskjold, allegedly had an ongoing inappropriate relationship with a friend’s 12-year-old daughter. About a dozen neo-Nazis from the National Socialist Movement got run out of Riverside,CA on the proverbial hot rail on Saturday. The swastika-lickers were protesting illegal immigration nearby where day-laborers congregate in the town. They were soon overwhelmed by a coalition of activists from anti-racist groups, assorted anarchists, the Brown Berets, and others, who hurled epithets at the sieg heil-ers, spat on them, yanked their neo-Nazi flags from their hands, and so on.
Defence Forces probe over Nazi salutes on Bebo
THE military authorities have launched an investigation after members of the Defence Forces were shown giving Nazi salutes and posting racist comments on a social networking site. At least two reserve Defence Force members based in Dublin are under investigation. A spokes-woman for the Minster for Defence Willie O’Dea confirmed the „review“ was ongoing and the investigation was expected to be completed by the end of the week. (…) In one image a Defence Force recruit is seen next to a statue of a German eagle clutching a swastika. The young man is wearing a German iron cross buckle on his belt. Another image shows the soldier superimposed beside Ku Klux Klan members.

Czech rightist extremists stage rally, no incidents
There were no incidents during the annual Saint Wenceslas Rally, staged by the Autonomous Nationalists and attended by roughly 200 far-right followers today. The Saint Wenceslas holiday has been commemorated by the far-right activists every year since 2005. There was a number of speakers, also from Poland and Sweden, at the square. The demonstrators carried flags with national symbols, the logo of Autonomous Nationalists and black flags.

The event, organized by the Autonomous Nationalists and called “St. Václav’s Demonstration”, was monitored by police. Promoters of the extreme right visit the town annually on the St. Václav holiday. On a square located outside the town centre, several speakers including guests from Poland and Sweden addressed the crowd. Demonstrators carried flags with national symbols, the logo of the Autonomous Nationalists, and black banners. At around 14:20 they set off on a march through the town along a previously announced route, chanting various slogans such as: „Radically, socially, nationally!“, „Saint Václav“, „Stop black racism“, „Bohemia for the Czechs” and „We don’t want ‘multikulti’ „. Regular participants in Workers’ Party events were among the neo-Nazis gathered. At one point during the march, the right-wing radicals passed a group of about 30 of their opponents, who were chanting „Antifa!“ The two camps were separated by riot police, so the skirmishes between them were only verbal. Several Roma were among the anti-fascists. From the neo-Nazi crowd someone was heard to yell: „You were supposed to have gone up in smoke!“ After walking approximately 1.5 kilometers, the adherents of neo-Nazism reached the Kladno chateau, where they listened to a second set of speeches in Zádušní street. One of the speakers was Jiří Bunda, a leading figure in the Autonomous Nationalists who organized the entire event. Bunda was also one of those who convened last year’s march by right-wing radicals on the Janov housing estate in Litvínov, which turned into an attempted pogrom on the Roma living there.
Ukraine hotel plan vetoed
The Mayor of Kiev has blocked a plan to build a hotel at the site of the memorial to the largest Nazi massacre of Jews in the Soviet Union. A plan adopted by Kiev’s municipal council to build a range of hotels for the 2012 European football championships included a complex at the site of the Babi Yar memorial in the Kiev suburbs.

Magyar Gárda marches on Roma ghetto
Some 80 to 100 people, most of them in the uniform of outlawed far-right militia the Magyar Gárda, marched to a house in the Roma ghetto in Kiskunlacháza early Saturday. The following day it was reported that a Roma person had earlier beaten up a mentally handicapped non-Roma woman. Police managed to normalise the tense situation, a spokesperson for the county police told Népszabadság on Sunday. Kiskunlacháza mayor József Répás told Magyar Hírlap that “police must investigate and hold the perpetrators responsible. It appears that Gypsies can do anything and police are no longer respected in this country. Anti-Hungarian feeling has become institutional in Hungary, led by the cabinet,” he said. “They keep silent about Roma crime while broadcasting news of crimes committed by Hungarians, particularly if the victims are Roma. This is unacceptable. We live in a morally depraved country,” Répás added.

Trotz internationaler Verstimmung hat sich der italienische Ministerpräsident Silvio Berlusconi erneut über die Hautfarbe von Barack Obama ausgelassen. Diesmal bezog er auch die Frau des US-Präsidenten mit ein. Bereits kurz nach dessen Wahl im November 2008 hatte Berlusconi gesagt, der Wahlsieger sei „jung, gut aussehend und ist sogar gut gebräunt.“

Yet another attack on the Roma in Mikulov
Yet another attack involving racist epithets took place in Mikulov during the early morning hours of Saturday. Marcela Krištofová, a Roma resident of the town, described the hooligans’ nighttime spree in front of the home where she and her sister live to Deník.cz as follows: “Around nine in the evening we saw people starting to gather not far away. The attack took place after midnight. We heard whizzing noises as stones were thrown at the windows. They also threw two glasses. The noise immediately woke me up. As I went to the window I heard them yelling: ‘Come out of there, black c—‘.” Fearing further attacks after another recent bottle-throwing incident, which broke a window, the family had adjusted their sleeping arrangements. The 11-month-old baby who narrowly escaped injury during the first incident was moved to her grandmother’s residence. “We immediately called both the state and the municipal police. The municipal patrol officers were the first to arrive. We pointed out one of the aggressors in the crowd and some of the other drunken teenagers paradoxically started saying we were racists,” the fearless Krištofová told Deník.cz. In her view, the attack this weekend was a response to an imprecise television report on the first incident by the Prima television station: “They feel maligned and think we made it up, but it was the television reporters who made the mistake. They broadcast a report saying a Molotov cocktail had been thrown, which is sheer nonsense – as is the reporting, for example, that my sister is from Slovakia.” Krištofová was most shocked to recognize children who are supposedly her daughter’s friends and schoolmates in the crowd that gathered in front of the house. “These kids used to greet me – they used to say ‘Hi Auntie’ to me. I do not understand where they get this hatred from. It makes me feel terrible. I was shocked to see a boy there who has been in our home many times. I asked him: ‘What are you here for? When a child died in your family, I mourned with you!’” Deník.cz quotes her as saying.

Neo-Nazis head to Kladno today
Neo-Nazis have called online for a St. Václav’s Day demonstration this afternoon in Kladno. The event was properly announced to the authorities and will be monitored by municipal officials and the state police. The town hall is prepared to disperse the gathering should illegal behavior take place. According to information obtained by Romea.cz, the event was announced by Jiří Bunda, a regular speaker at neo-Nazi demonstrations who made an unsuccessful bid in the 2006 regional elections with the Právo a Spravedlnost (“Law and Justice”) party. During the 2008 regional elections he ran as a Workers’ Party candidate. In the past Bunda has also been a member of the Vlastenecká fronta (“Patriotic Front”) and Národní sjednocení (“National Unity”) organizations. He also attends events organized by National Resistance. Lastly, Bunda was the announcer of the march by Autonomous Nationalists on 17 November 2008 in Litvínov which turned into an attempted pogrom on the Roma living at the Janov housing estate there
Central Ukrainian synagogue vandalized
Two unidentified vandals threw red paint on the walls and windows of a synagogue in a central Ukrainian city. In addition, anti-Semitic slogans were written on the walls of the synagogue in Kremenchug on Sunday night. The attackers also distributed anti-Semitic leaflets that read “Death to kikes!” throughout the building. No one was hurt in the attack. Local police are investigating, but no arrests have been reported. A police surveillance tape filmed the incident.

BNP blame Zionists for EDL
BNP leader Nick Griffin has claimed that the English Defence League is being manipulated and directed by Zionists to create a race war on the streets of Britain. Trying to distance the BNP from any potential problem, Griffin and his deputy Simon Darby have set out in an audio message their position on the hooligan-based group. And surprise, surprise – it’s all the fault of the Zionists. Griffin explains how he initially thought the EDL was a State-sponsored honey trap to embarrass the BNP but now he doesn’t believe that even they would do that. In fact, he argues, there are far more sinister forces at work. It is Simon Darby who begins to shine the light on those behind the EDL. “It’s been set up by a powerful organisation,” he tells his leader. “People with the power to manipulate, who are used to manipulating and have the organisational structure, the facility and the financial clout to promote it.”
Belleville sees protest, counter-protest, over bus attack
About two dozen members of the National Socialist Movement protest last week’s beating of a Belleville West High School teenager in downtown Belleville among several hundred counter protesters and onlookers. About 25 white supremacists carried signs and used a bullhorn at a rally near Belleville City Hall on Saturday morning to call for hate crime charges against two black teens accused of attacking a white teen on a school bus. At the same time, a church group held a vigil about a half block away to promote racial harmony. No problems were reported. Several dozen police officers in riot gear waited nearby with dogs. A significant crowd of bystanders watched the events that started about 11:30 a.m. near the corner of South Illinois and Washington streets, ostensibly coming from the Oktoberfest celebration on the town square, one block north. Protesters, mainly dressed in black and some displaying Nazi flags, identified themselves as part of the National Socialist Movement. They yelled out, „Double standard!“ and „White power!“ The counterprotest of more than 100 people, organized by the Conqueror’s Christian Center, in Belleville, displayed signs inscribed with „We Are One“ and „We Love You.“
