Workers block road over unpaid wages

IMK 14. oktobar company workers blocked a bypass in the central Serbian town of Kruševac on Monday over overdue wages. “The fact that we are here and that we have blocked the bypass means that our requests have not been fulfilled. We want the factory to work, overdue wages to be paid, our health insurance to be paid and for somebody from the ministry to talk to us,” said IMK 14. oktobar independent union Deputy President ?or?e Simonovic’. The road was blocked between 8:45 and 10:00 CET on Monday morning and the protesting workers have announced that they will block the road tomorrow as well.
